Does any help use HelpUSell? I heard that they will charge a flat fee for the listing. But how much do they charge for the buyer agent commission?

Sweetie ... other agents don't even bother looking at help u sell on mls... they only offer us 2% in comparison to the 450 other listings that at least offer us 4% to sometimes 5% for just the buyers agents commission... why would you want a discount broker selling your top notch home?? Isn't your investment worth what it deserves?

Ok, I don't know HelpUSell specifics, but I can tell you what I have found to be true.

HelpUSell is menu driven... every service you get, you pay for. Make sure that you get the home listed on MLS otherwise no one will know it is for sale.... All Commissions are negotiable.

If you choose not to pay the buyer agent commission, you will lose several potential buyers. Most buyers use their own agents. They have already set aside earnest money, a down payment and closing costs. If you add an agent's fee on top of that, they may not be able to afford it. It is typical and customary for the seller to pay. It is one of those things where if someone thinks that the seller is paying and then they realize later that they are not, the deal may fall through.

So, if you are going to use a company that offers a limited service for a lesser price, make sure you know exactly what you are getting and what the consequenses are if you leave certain services out.

I am an agent and haven't seen these discount brokers accomplish much. Their clients usually end up using a conventional Realtor

i believe it is 3 percent . i use assist to sell and the flat fee is $2,995. but if you want an MLS listing it is $1,000 .more. Also , the agent commision is paid by the person buying i believe , not the seller.
