give a valid reason for the loss of interest in privious job...like under-paid under stressful working conditions, unhealthy competition in workplace, negative attitude of boss and co-workers, not enough challenging or creative work etc.(Don't say all)

Say that you expect better of (whatever reason you give) in the new company.

I would never say I lost interest because it would not sound good for me and would hurt my chances at getting the job I was interviewing for. I'd instead state something like I am looking to further myself in my choice of career or something similar.

its a no no to say that... but if you've already said it, then a good come back would be that the job didnt suit you and you lost interest because it wasn't your passion - and the reason you are applying for this new job is because it is much more your interest and you are confident that you won't lose interest in this position.

If you had a simple or dull job for a long period of time, prospective employers might think you were not ambitious enough, or capable of finding alternative work.

You should of said i want to improve my prospects to gain a job that has a better future I think you blew it.
