I've had my business for almost 2 years and still have all of the signed credit card slips. It is getting a bit much. I don't want to distroy them until I know I won't be required to have them anymore.

How long must I keep them?

Since I am pregnant and it is somewhat a high risk pregnancy I am not able to work a real job. My husband doing all the work on his own just doesnt seem fair and I dont like not earning any money. Can you tell me some legit work at home programs? Maybe like stuffing envelopes or something? I won't pay any money out front because that is probably a scam but I really need to do something. I'm getting desperate. I will even do something like answer surveys and stuff online as long as its free with no hidden fees. Please help. Thanks.

I tell the collectors that he doesn't live here anymore, and they tell me that they will call me tomorrow. This has been going on for over a week. Is there any legal action I can take? These people are starting to be rude to me.

2 co-workers at my job dislike me and are jealous that I am so successful so early in my career. They are starting to turn new people against me who come on board. I've gone out of my way to be kind to the latest newcomer and compliment them on a job well done. I was accidently forwarded an email that he wrote about me, and I think it is to win the approval of the other two. I talked to my supervisor but I am so hurt and angry still. What would you do? Thoughtful answers please.

for a job that was not advertised? You just want to apply to the company. here is what I usually start off with my cover letter:

I am pleased to respond to your job advertisement on the -wherever I saw it posted- website for the -whatever position- that is open with the -whatever company name-. I am confident my qualifications very closely meet the needs of which your company is searching for.

So how would you start off if the company is not advertising any openings?

I got my friend a (casual) job at my office. I was working part time. She wanted permanent part time so that she could get benefits. She got friendly with the new boss. Long story short - they made things so miserable for me that I ended up quitting & my friend got her 2 day/wk job. I loved the job. I had been there for 9 years; always got good reviews & got along well with all the other staff. I didn't even get a good-bye card. I'm sure it just made their day when I quit - however I am quite angry over the whole situation. I would really like to get even. How?

We live in NY (Queens). We just signed the lease in November and one week in he decided he's going to sell. Our lease will not expire until October 31, 2008. Does anyone know if the new owner has to honor our lease? Or are we screwed?

Hello

I'm completing my first year car payment (of 5 yrs car loan) in Dec2006. The interest rate is high and i would like to refinance.
I have a secured credit card ($500) with payments on time and Regular Credit Card ($3000) of which i have $2500 used but no payments delayed.

Anyone, please advice me
1.How much my credit score approx. would be?
2.Can i refinance my car in Jan2007?
3.If i pull my credit info, is it accounted as a Hit?
4.If i ask my lender (any bank, credit card companies) to pull the info, is it a hit?

Please advice. Thanks in advance!
Appreciate it

I am a contract employee, I have been working with my present company for 3 years. I have NOT had a "review" nor any wage increase. The Contract company keeps stating that they are merely a "payroll" company and that is it. This "payroll" company has made 2 MAJOR payroll erors. The have shorted my hours and failed to deposit my direct deposit pay. My question to you all is this:
Should I just look for another Job?
Should I tell my employeer how this contract company has been treating me and another employee?
How can I ask my employeer in a delicate manor that I no longer wish to work contract and I would like to be hired on, and IF that is not an option, then I need to seek other employement?
