I got my friend a (casual) job at my office. I was working part time. She wanted permanent part time so that she could get benefits. She got friendly with the new boss. Long story short - they made things so miserable for me that I ended up quitting & my friend got her 2 day/wk job. I loved the job. I had been there for 9 years; always got good reviews & got along well with all the other staff. I didn't even get a good-bye card. I'm sure it just made their day when I quit - however I am quite angry over the whole situation. I would really like to get even. How?

Revenge is empty and it won't make you feel better, it will make you feel worse. Don't do it. You just have to find a way to move on and realize that there are other people in the world that are better :).

Hey, revenge may be sweet, but only for a moment. Later you will regret doing anything. Getting revenge is not only immature, but it brings you down to their level. You need to move on. You might not be able to use your old boss as a reference, but it sounds like you have experience working at an office, and should be able to get a good, if not better job. If your friend rubs it in your face that you quit, you will be able to show her that you have another job, and don't really need your old job or boss. That is more effective than real revenge, and you will have a lot of confidence in yourself!

The first thing you should have done was not to quit but to work the chain of command.
Now that you have left the only way to show them is to get on with your life and not look back. If you were really as good an employee as you say you were then you can find another good job.
Don't let them keep a hold on you by trying to think of ways to hurt them. It will only tear you up inside. Don't be that person.
Find something better, you can do it.

Revenge is a Pandora's box ,and you don't want to open it .
You have worked for that company for nine year so it tells me that you get along with people and shouldn't have a problem finding another job . But your Friend if she caused a problem for you she will do it again and will loose that job just be there when that happens .

Well you quit... let it go. Your never gonna benefit yourself by doing anything to these people. You could accually get yourself in trouble.
Bottom line is you let jerks get to you and you quit. Get a new job move on and forget the whole thing.
