Go to the site www.------.com of the state you are looking in. Then go to the town. then homes, then rent. You should be able to find something this way as I did it just last week. Good Luck.

go to local stores they usually have listings safeway albertsons and places like that. its very uncommon but some poeple use a realoter for renting houses. go on the interenet places like craigslist.com

you could talk to a real estate agent preferably a Realtor
it's free they get paid by the landlord
