My husband has a tax ID number and I have a Social. We filed with two different women and we ended up owing 3,000 dollars. We know that isnt possible. Is there anything we can do?

Neither one of these women will take responsibility and both are slimy. We didnt see this before but other people have told us the same thing.

I want note pads similar to the 3M Post it Notes with a glue strip along the front side as well as the back side. The front of the notes would also have advertising messages or Customer Logo and Company name. The notes are called "Biz Card Affix-Um" and would be about 3 inches square. The Specialty Advertising Repositionable Note would be used to affix a business card, or other note, to the first page of a letter or piece of correspondence. In other words, the Biz Card Affix-Um is first affixed to the correspondence, and then the Bisiness Card is affixed to the front side of same. It makes for a unique way of presenting your company image. As a matter of note, the Biz Card Affix-Um is patented. Thank you for your help. Bosch Global.

I have been looking for Grant information to help with my business. I found a web site called "My Grant Resources" also "MGR Today." I applied for a grant online and they called and stated that I was approved for an $18000.00 dollar grant BUT I have to send in $449.00 first. He said the cut off date for grants is Nov. 16, 2006. The name of the guy who called from this Co. is Joe Cane. The address he gave is: 14781 Memorial Dr. Suite 1999 Houston, Tx. 77079
The phone # he gave was: 1-877-931-2249
The web site for this co. is: http://www.mgrtoday.org/

Please help me to verify this and find out for sure if this is a scam or if it is legit. I really need this to keep my business.

Thanks,
Jason

I've worked a job for almost 10 months, and I guess you can say I've hated it since day 1. I stuck it out, because it's only a year-long job, and the end of one year I receive a scholarship and a bonus which was the reason why I took the job to begin with. Anyway, I have enough horror stories from the past 10 months, but I've managed to survive. I've cried, threatened to quit, blah blah, but I've always talked myself into staying for the rewards at the end. However, today just set me over the edge. I was degraded by a coworker for not knowing my work schedule, or so she says, when I showed up EARLY for work. She has a higher position than I do, but she isn't my direct boss. I felt so horrible to be treated like a 2-year old, that I left. Now I'm afraid she's going to tell my boss what happened, and of course, he'll take her side. I know I could get in trouble for leaving, but I couldn't stay there anymore. Any advice on how to survive the next 2 months?

Yes, corn oil. That stuff that we used to take for granted when we thought about corn at all.

We really want it for ethanol, cause it is cleaner and cheaper, i guess. And it doesn't start wars and get people killed like gasoline.

New York city probably wants corn oil real bad, cause they just passed a law that says "no trans-fats" in there restraunts.

And the developers want the land that it grows on!
Maybe we should all start investing in corn oil futures?
Can we burn the transfat, that New York doesn't want, in our cars?

I can't go through a bank for financing. My parents will be giving me the $ for the house but I still can't use a bank. I really like one house, but no contact has been made with the owner. If it doesn't work out with this house.. how else will I know who is more likely to do a land contract?

Signs in yards like "for sale by owner", is that a slight indication?
