even if the negatives were true? If so please share your expirience and what you did

Yes, I have disputed and had the negatives removed, but the negatives were inaccurate. Sometimes it is best to "let laying dogs sleep" if the negative is old and accurate. By disputing the claim, you are refreshing the memory that you have an accurate debt with the creditor and since they will be updating the bureaus, your credit score could slightly drop since the account will look like it has had recent activity. Plus, if the creditors start to contact you since you reminded them of the debt, you will have to be careful with what you do so that you don't lengthen the statue of limitations (allowing them to have a chance to sue you for a longer period of time).

Yes I've done it, even with things that were true. The thing is to confuse the creditor. I diputed the accounts online, Then one Friday I sent a letter to the bureaus to dispute the same accounts, I waited unitl that following Friday and sent the same letter again, just with an updated date. The creditor is now required to verify that debt 3 times. Sometimes they think it's just a repeat because they're getting the requests back to back. If the fail to verify the debt all 3 times the debt is removed. Some people will look down on me for doing this, but who cares. Look back through my questions ( I haven't asked many) and read how I changed my score in 30 days. It's TRUE
