Depends on your perspective. If you are a labor leader then you probably find that management is always at fault. On the other hand if you are a supervisor you may feel employees are not motivated enough. Since I have been in both categories I can say from experience that the truth lies in the middle. Employers have a right to expect a fair days work for a fair days pay. Employees have the right to work in a heathy environment inwhich the employer obeys all of the labor laws. Problems occur when one or the other party does not live up to their responsibilities. Most of the time management demands too much and labor wants to give too little.

Nope, neither, the problem is the economy. It is changing so fast...that we can't keep up...so we think if we blame someone or our employer...yes that's it...

and American workers are the best in the world...we've been shaken ever since 9/11/2001 when thousands were murdered by terrorists.

Ever since then, we think .....if we get workers in another country then we'll be safe...we all just want safety...and if you look at history the only safety we have ...is in numbers...by Americans sticking together...yes men and women...and when the men left for war, the women took over...raising the children..and working in factories.

I know because my mother and aunt who raised me worked in factories all their lives, and I am most grateful because they taught me that as a woman I needed an education...because they can't take that away from me......they are both gone...but in my heart forever.

I think it can be either or both. People who don't care about doing their job right and bosses who don't really know how to supervise and manage and who aren't really glad to be there, they thought they wanted the promotion and when they got it, it like "the grass is always greener" because they have bosses too, so on.....

It's pretty much both. It's up to you and you only to stop the cycle though. It has to start somewhere why not with you.
