It takes more than what you wear to wow your interviewers. Think back to your interviews and how you responded to the questions. Did you give the garden variety answers? If so write down all the questions you have come across and try ahead of time to think of more creative answers.

Also think about your speech. Are you using yeah instead of yes? Do you use contractions a lot? Slang? How is your tone?

Think about your body language. Do you make eye contact? How are you sitting? Are you slouching? What are your legs doing? Do you smile at all?

Look at your resume. Does it stick out to you? If not redo it and make it sparkle. Also take a look at your references, do they have nice things to say about you?

Dressing nicely is part of the game. It shows you are a professional and you respect them but that is only a small fraction of what is considered when wanting to hire you.

I think the employment office holds classes to help you write a resume plus help you with interviews. They are never easy. Getting a job now days can be really hard. Don't take it too personal. Everyone has a difficult time. Not just you. Do some reading. Learn some key words to use when you are in an interview. Good luck. I don't know you, but I am proud of you. You are looking for work. Don't give up. You didn't mention your age, or your level of education or what kind of work you are looking for. Maybe you need to go back to school. If you can, that would be great. Junior college is a lot more fun than HS. But I don't know, you might have already done that.

Clean up your act........meaning speak clearly, use eye contact, and be confident. Dress for success but act the part too....oh, and do some research about the company before your interview.

That must be very discouraging. Write them a short letter asking why they rejected you. Tell them you're trying to improve your interview technique.
