I'm still on the fence on if it's bad or not. Sure, Wal-mart runs mom 'n' pop stores out of business, but isn't that the benefit of Sam Walton working so hard? I admit I'm probably uneducated, so please give me the other side of the story.

Can You Claim A Deduction For Paying Tuition At A Private School?

We (Husband and I) pay a monthly tution rate for our 5 yrd old daugher. We live in Texas and for the last 3 years we have been claiming a deduction for daycare since we both work. Are there any deduction/benefits for paying for a private school?

resident alien wants to open a small business to get a business visa.?

I want to open my small business in the U.S., however, I'm not a permanent resident nor a greencard holder. I'm just a student who came to U.S with F1 visa(student visa). So, I'm planning to open my small business after I finished my college to get a business visa so that I will be able to stay longer and legal in here while I still can go back to my homecountry anytime. My friend told me that with 50k I can open a business and show to the INS or other US dept. to obtain a business visa. Also,I will apply for OPT after I graduate and I will use that paper to open a small business rather than to work with a company. can I do that?

where can i find wholesale craft items or items for babies to sell on ebay?

Would getting a equity loan and using it to invest in buying another house be smart?

I know someone that can help me with buying a home at a good price that I could turn around and rent or sell. I would just like to know if its a good idea to take the risk of my house note going up and maybe loosing both homes.

just a highschool diploma because I need to make some good money so I will be able to live on my own. I am attending college and need flexible hours and $5.15 is my current job wage/hr and its not near enough (even with 45 hours/wk @$203 per week)

I have bad credit and student loans...help?

I have bad credit and alot of student loans. I have thought of bankruptcy but that dosn't cover my student loans does anyone know of any banks or credit unions that would give a loan big enough to pay off all of my debt so that I could make just one payment a month. I have tried a credit consolidation place a long time ago and they stole the 700 dollors that I sent to them so I will not do that again and like I said before I won't file for bankruptcy. I don't eat out I don't smoke and I don't drink starbucks. So please don't tell me to live cheap.

What will you do when you are too old to work to support yourself?

I'm in my mid 30's, working two part time jobs, no children. I haven't had insurance or a retirement plan since 2000. I have mental limitations that make it hard to get a good job. I wonder what I'll do when I can't support myself any more. I really have no idea.
