I work at a grocery store and I see all kinds of people. But the worst are the ones who are rude, loud, have horrible hygeine and have no idea how to act in public, and not to mention missing teeth. They have like 4 or 5 kids and they are dirty as well and rude just like their parents. They are buying steak and icecream and all kinds of good stuff with food stamps! Its not fair! There I am working hard and I can't bring home steak and stuff! How are your feelings on this issue?

I tried to open up a JCPenny credit card they said I was pending then i recieved a letter in the mail a few days ago saying "Insufficent Credit History On File" what does this mean? and how can i make this better so i can have a credit card. by the way i do not own a credit card .

I recently requested a floater holiday to go to the eye doctor (i have had a bump in my eye lid for like 4 months) it is not going away. This doctor does not have weekend hours (the only time i have off) and this manager gets all upset and goes on about how short handed we are, she turns around and gives another person the day off to study for her mid terms. I have worked in this place for 16 years, I have like 6 sick days, I have only used 2 of them.

I have the worst boss ever but I have great co-workers. We enjoy working together, but our boss just drives us crazy. He always takes obviously wrong decisions and doesn’t want to listen any of our advices. Of course most of the time he’s not in the office and we do the business in the way we believe is right. But when he shows up is a disaster. He ruins all of our ideas and efforts, creates one big mess and leaves again. We don’t want him to be our boss, but he owns the company. Is there a way we can fire him, in case we all don’t want him there, no exceptions.

I sell clothes on e-bay and recently started offering international shipments. I have a customer in England who clais that her Post Officce told her that I should be paying customs for the clothes that I send her. My Post Office has never mentioned anything about paying customs on any of my international packages. I was under the impression that any duties or customs charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks a lot!!

Canadian Work Source - scam or not. They say send 40 bucks and they will send a book containing 600 companies that offer work you do at home. I know if you have to send money first it is usually a scam, but they make it sound good. Anyone heard of them or even sent for the book?

I am thinking about trying to get a part time job to get some extra cash for the holidays but the only places that I see hiring are department stores and they are only paying $7.00-8.00 and you can only work 15 hours a week.

Have you ever worked at a job for the holidays where you made great money? Where are the best places to work for the holidays where you can make the most money? Any ideas on commission types of jobs would be helpful too.

By the way, I am WAY over 18 so I don't want to babysit, or work in a grocery store.

I'm amazing in English, good in History but Terrible in math the subject that's the most important. I want to be an architect well i can't it's like in the top 5 jobs that need knowledge of math. I'm interested in cars and illegal street racing but well it's illegal so i can't make a living with it. I'm interested in guns but don't know much about them and don't know what kind of jobs that include guns exist except cops and law enforcment. I'm interested in nasa but you need math the most for that so i can't do anything with that. Whats a career i should try out?

During the course of 1 year my boss has gone through 6 assistants, I am now the 7th. She is verbally abusive to not only me but to the rest of the staff as well, she will actually scream at employees cursing and throwing things at them and calling them stupid, idiots, morons, etc. She seems to thrive off of breaking down confidence. The entire staff is in fear of her but is too scared to confront her. The owner and COO of our company have both witnessed her rampages on many occasions and have had multiple complaints regarding her. They refuse to do anything about it because she brings in the top paying clients.

I love my every other aspect of my job and have been with the company two years. I do not want to leave but I feel that I can no longer tolerate her behavior. It is breaking me down to the point where I get into my car at the end of the day and cry. I feel that I have tough skin and don’t take criticism personally but this is getting out of hand. Please help!
