If it helps, you can use a recruiting company as an example. Also any examples or resources would be very helpful. Thank you.

I have an interview on Friday for a teaching job at the university. I already work there part-time and it's highly possible that they'll hire me full-time. But I want to make sure I give well-thought and well-phrased answers to their questions. I'm very bad at answering questions without giving much thought on them, and I'm afraid of messing things up. Last year, I had a similar interview but now I don't even remember what they asked to me, I was very excited I think. Well, if I know what kind of questions to expect, I can think on the answers beforehand and have a successful interview.

I'd highly appreciate it if any experienced teacher could give me some advice on how to prepare for the interview.

In June of this year, my father died. My mother, age 79, who was married to my father at the time of death, received a check from a utility company in the amount of $ 511.13 that is made payable to my dad's "Mr. John Doe Estate". My mothers name is not on the check. My mother's lawyer has allowed her sign various papers related to the estate over the past few months.

My mom took this check into her local, main bank, which she and dad have been doing business with for 10 years, and said she wanted to deposit the check. The bank told her that, because it was made out ONLY to my dad's estate, that she would have to open a "new " account in the name of my dad's estate.

Is this correct? What alternatives are there ? Any suggestions ?

I do not reside in the United States, however, I do maintain a U.S. address (a friend's address actually) so that my U.S. clients can mail my checks and 1099s with ease. However, does this mean I have to pay taxes on this income? What are the exemptions on income for Americans living abroad? In my case, technically I earn my living FROM the United States (my clients are based there) but I work remotely and don't live there.
