There is a way. Well I saw it in an episode of Star Trek, but I read it in the paper as well the other day. Basically if you claim that your boss is not in a fit mental state and have some form of evidence to back up this claim (colleague statements) then it is possible to get him removed from power. It would need to be quite substancial in that sense.
But I'd only recommend that as a real extreme. That's the only way in which an employee can overturn a Superior's decision I believe. Unless he's really abusing his power and then there are union laws for that kinda thing.

Ha, no, are you serious? Obviously the employees can't fire the owner of the company...
Unless all of you own stock in the company and collectively own more than him. Then you could have a shareholders meeting and vote him out of control. For some reason, it doesn't seem like this is your situation.
Bosses typically do ruin everyone's day, it's part of the power trip of being the boss. But as for firing him? Keep dreaming...

Type up a memo each time your boss is not available.
Also include facts that he is not running the company but the employees are. Gather all true information and send it to the Head Boss of the company. Do not sign it.
Just end it with: Just thought you need to know.
Ask them to keep a close eye on your boss without him knowing it, to catch him at his own game.

Well, if it is his own company, there is no way to fire him. Think about it, you are the employees. The boss is the boss, no matter what the employees think about them. But say there was an advisor above this boss, you could talk to them to get him fired.
i guess u are stuck with him, so just talk to him as a group about his behavior, and try to think of ways to solve this problem. do not attack him as being a bad boss, just talk to him about what he does wrong and how he can improve.
take care and good luck!

Do we work together? My boss is exactly the same way except he doesn't own the company. He's just got his head so far up his bosses a** that he has became his bosses bottom half. His boss isn't any better. Good Luck on finding someway to get rid of him but the only way I can think of is to buy it from him or go start your own business and run him out of town.

properly once you're in an "at-will" state, the enterprise can hearth an worker for no reason at any time, purely as an worker can provide up devoid of be conscious at any time. even with the undeniable fact that, that does no longer recommend the worker can no longer record for and carry at the same time unemployment, which will improve the taxes for the corporate. to sidestep that, the enterprise the two has to stick to a definite disciplinary chain with the worker, documenting coverage violations or overall performance themes 2-three times, then issuing an exceedingly final warning, and then termination, or the worker quits, wherein case they are no longer eligible for unemployment. a good enterprise could stick to the disciplinary chain. For one, because of the fact that's the right undertaking to do, for yet another, maximum workers do no longer decide for to do a foul pastime; they only have not had the right motivation, preparation or environment. subsequently in case you are able to inspire somebody to do their pastime on your delight, that's frequently much less intense priced for the enterprise than firing them and finding somebody else. Your boss, on the different hand, looks like a scumbag. in the event that they're the truthfully proprietor of this company, or a relative of, i could in all probability look for yet another pastime, as somebody with that low a adulthood and ethics might desire to truthfully do an identical to you. If, on the different hand, this person has a md, and that's somebody you think of is ethical, evaluate discretely documenting what you spot; dates, cases, accomplices, etc. Then see in the adventure that your pal or others might desire to be keen to pass with you to the vast boss to debate this person. i understand in my company, i could like to appreciate if I had someone of such low character working for me, and mis-representing how i prefer my company run.

If you want to "fire" your boss, you quit. Then you have effectively fired him as YOUR boss.
If you want the company to fire him, try to go to upper management and voice your complaints. They may or may not listen and they may or may not care.
