original balance on card was 756$ but they are charging my1550$ after interest and fee's. Court date is oct 10th and i am willing to settle out of court but dont want to pay too much since i have partially paid my time with 3 years of bad credit. Im thinkin of 500$ mark as paid as agreed and not settled. any lawyers/credit counseling people out there help me with the magic number i can pay in lump sum?!?! i would like some knowledge b4 i call them.

In my opinion it is not. I don't have horrifying credit but I have a few items on my credit report. I think it is unfair because they could turn down a very qualified candidate because of financial reasons. Do they ever think if this person gets a good job they could repair their credit.

I've been temping for a company for the summer and I have been told that I am going to be hired full time. I was elated, and I even have people that don't know I was hired asking me when it is going to happen. My boss was the one who was supposed to talk to me but that was close to three weeks ago.

I saw him on Friday and he said he would talk to me later today. Even my co-workers will ask "Did someone talk to you yet?" and I'd say no, and they'd be befuddled or have a concerned look on their face. He didn't talk to me today either......

Then one of my co-workers, again, said "You gotta remember he's a very busy person". I'm anxious and I'm starting to fear the worst. Should I? Or just take them at face value.....

I have an Ultra Wash Kenmore dishwasher that is about 8 year old and is beige in color. The dishwasher sticks out like a sore thumb because all my appliances are black and white. I wanted to find a part to replace not just the outside frame of the dishwasher from beige to white. The problem is I don't have the tech manual for the washer and the only part number listed on the inside door are 3377825 and 2274666. I called Sears part center and they said they don't have enough information and would need to provide the model number which I don't know. Any advice how I can get the model number of the dishwasher, so I can ask Sears if they have a white color plate and outside frame?

I've been at my job for 3 years. Its time for my yearly raise. I asked for it in August and I was basically told no, even though I was given more responsiblities. I feel like I should have more work since I'm not getting paid for it, which in turn has turned me into a slacker. What should I do to get my raise. I like my job (I work at a car dealership) and its close to home, but I don't want to get under paid when I do so much here.
