I totally agree with the other responders. In my experience with a small medical practice, the order of concerns are:
1. Finances (under capitalization will doom any entrepreneur)
2. Employees
3. Insurance payments and contracts
4. Co pays (payments not insurance nor write offs)
5. Professional colleagues
6. Marketing
Initially your concern will be staying in business. A large salary disbursement to the owner is not likely for some time. Remember that you are at the mercy of the market, not the other way around.

First five years Nope unless you are saying gross revenue.
You personally will be lucky to take home 20,000 $
after taxes & expenses and thats on 50 -60 hr work week.
Now if you survive five years a personal take home of 60-80000 in possible again on 50 - 60 hr week.
go with luck and knowledge and you will not be in bankruptcy court.

If you didn't take insurance and only took cash-paying patients, then MAYBE you'd see a hundred grand.

Most insurance companies will not creditial any single practitioners anymore - they want groups.
