I'm stuck in the objective slot of a resume are you suppose to capitalize the title of the position you are applying for? what about the located like the (s)outheast or (n)orheast? first to answer intelligently right get the points.

Yes you capitalize the title of the position you're apply for, but I don't have the job listed in my objective. As for location, nope. Here's an example of my objective to look for office work:

CAREER OBJECTIVE
Clerical support position that will utilize my computer knowledge and professional skills. Possess excellent customer service and communication skills with ability to work with variety of people. Able to follow directions, work independently or as a member of a team, and meet deadlines.

You do not have to put the name of the position you are applying to in the objective area... that area is used to communicate to the communicate the type of work you are looking for. just make sure that it is in relation to the type of work you are applying for. If you are sending a cover letter... you an put Re: (Title of the Position, bold ed. no need to capitalize it.)... hope that helps

Yes, you capitalize the Position. Not the location.

Go to www.microsoft.com, look for template for resume. There is serveral kinds: basic, job speicific, and situation-specific resume. Look for one that you you have to put an objective in if you're not sure the position you're applying for. Good luck

Your objective is like why you want the job. I remember I put on my resume (I'm only in h/s and was applying for my first job) "I am seeking part-time employment that will benefit me in my future career path."
