Does anyone know about how to become a Professional Buyer? Is there training involved, or must you go to school for it?

I've called Kinkos, Staples, and Office Depot and they all want to charge a ton. Even the cheapest of them wants to charge me over $2 a page and at least $7 for the first page. That would cost me over $65 for a simple job.

Who has a reasonable price?

My husband and I would like to buy a single family home in the next 5 years or so for our future children.

We live in the San Diego suburbs, and the house prices are finally dropping here.

We will have our 3 bd/3 bath townhouse paid off in a few months and have no equity loans, car loans or any other debt.

We have great credit and $50,000 in savings for a downpaymnet on a new home.

Should we sell our townhouse and use the money towards a new house?

Or should we rent out our townhome and use the rental income towards a new loan?

Would it be best to keep the townhome for retirement income?

What is most beneficial for my family's future?

Any advice?

If there are credit cards other than these why would anyone want them because it seems like most places only take the major cards.

I am in the Civil Service Pension Scheme. For a while I paid additional voluntary cointributions to a Scottish Widows account, I stopped the payments some years ago. I recently asked to withdraw the funds as I needed them, I was informed that I couldn't access the money. Why can't I gain access to these funds? I have no intention of adding to them and I could really do with them at the moment.

Add into the equation: you don't know the significant other all that well; that person is over the age of 30; that person has some "habits" that you do not like (e.g., using illegal substances); you've been friends with your friend for over 10 yrs; you are a professional (doctor, lawyer, etc.); you have never worked with your friend's significant other.

I am currently about to get my undergrad and i know for a fact that i want to end being a consultant. I am toying with two options. Option one is an industrial engineering degree with a minor in business admin. and computer science. Option 2 is a dual major in manegment science(business informations systems track), and international business and also includes a minor in computer science. Just in case it helps, i speak english, spanish, and portuguese, and would like to do consulting throughout latin america and the usa. Any thoughts on which option would be better?

In the first few years of a 30 year mortgage, the real interest rate is 300% or so based on principal and interest payments. Example...on a 30 yr loan of $100,000 at 6.5%, in the first year about $1100 goes to principal and $6400 to interest. Why are mortgages not simple interest loans? Why do we, as consumers, seem to accept this?
