When I talk about renting everyone says "you are throwing your money away" and talk about 1st time buyer programs. But do I have any other choice than to rent when I live alone and make so little? I mean, I may be able to make the mortgage payments but if anything went wrong with the house, which of course it would, I'd be screwed...

My brother and I both work for ourselves. we work together but seperate. anyway last week I was helping my brother out when he was in a bind with a big job and could not get all his work orders done. In the middle of doing some of his work, my car broke and was in the shop for 2 days last week and 2 days this week. just got it back Tuesday afternoon. he is mad at me because one of the jobs had to be done by no later than Monday. it did not get done. he knew about my car and he even refused to let me borrow his truck so I could work on Saturday. He threw a fit today and started yelling at me about this, saying I made him look bad... and caused him to lose business. he was yelling and going on about it in front of our kids. I left my parents house to stop the scene my kids and his were watching. How do I handle this? we work together, he is my brother and he was a jerk...

I wanna make a pmt to a loan on my dad's account but I don't have all the money. Does wells fargo accept pmt by Debit card [so that i can overdraft my account and pay the feees later] or do they only accept cash? Can I make a money order and cash it to myself?

Hi! I'm a shoplot developer from malaysia, and i'm just curious exactly what does doctors look for when they want to start up their very own clinic? A friend of mine is ready to file for chapter 13. He started using a credit card he has never used before. His attorney suggested not to pay for it and the card is listed among the other items he is claiming under bankruptcy.He wants to keep this credit card just in case he needs it in an emergency. Can he still pay the minimum payment so as to keep it even though it is listed in the claims that the attorney has?

I have a question for you as I am still abit new to option trading but am having success at it. I wanted to ask if this is
correct assuming all the below variables are what I say that they are.

I am interested in selling an OTM Long ButterFly, here are the specs:


8-07-06(On this date I execute the following OTM Long Butterfly)

StockPrice: $70

Buy (5) Jan 07 55 Puts @ $2.30 = -$1150(net debit)
Sell (10) Jan 07 50 Puts @ $1.40 = +$1400(net credit)
Buy (5) Jan 07 45 Puts @ $0.90 = -$360(net debit)

-$110(net debit)

Total Max Risk: $110 plus commissions
Margin Required: None
Break Even Point: (Unknown how to calculate the high and low B/E points)


11-07-06(On this date I execute the following)

Stock Price: $70

Sell (5) Jan 07 55 Puts @ $1.15 = $575(net credit)
Buy (10) Jan 07 50 Puts @ $0.60 = -$600(net debit from buying back(+$1400 options worth) = +$800.00
Sell (5) Jan 07 45 Puts @ $0.30 = $150(net credit)

$1525.00(net credit)

Trade: Max Risk -$110 plus commissions / Max Gain +$1525 minus commissions

****My real question here is that even though I have to buy back the Jan 07 50 Puts and pay $600 total for them
they where worth $1400 when I sold them and now I am buying them back for $600 so that means I would have
a +$800 for that part of the trade plus the credits from the selling of the other two strikes, for a total
net credit of $1525 or is it truely $575+$150 = $725 - $600 for the payback which equals a total of $125
net credit.

****Also I am abit fuzzy on finding the breakeven point on a OTM Long Butterfly option is the above correct.

I am a registered nurse in a hospital and work 12 hours a day 3 days weekly. The job is very stressful. I work 2 days on and 3 days off. Kids are grown and I would just like to try something a little different. Any suggestions?
