Banks will let you have a current account without overdraft until they have some trading experience with you. They issue a silly thing called "Solo" card which allows you to pay through chip and pin machines but will not let you overdraw.

Examine your reasons for wanting credit. Emotional desires can lead people into so much debt they end up killing themselves. Credit is debt and needs to be repaid out of future income. Make sure your job is secure and you compute your income before taking on any debt.

Be smart, not stupid. Control your desire to have what you want today. It's the only way to remain happy. But don't take my word for it. Ask anyone who is deeply in debt.

In the UK everyone is entitled to a basic bank account. This offers no overdraft and no credit facilities, however it usually includes a cash point card and if you are old enough a debit card without overdraft.

You will need two forms of ID, they are really strict about this, and if you are under age, you will need a parent/guardians signature.

From the way you stated your question, I'll assume your very young because the question doesn't make sense and in that case credit is usually limited to those 18 and older

Check this card out: It is guaranteed acceptance with no credit check and it reports to all 3 credit agencies so you can build credit.

You did not say your age. You have to be at least 18 even to get a student checking account.
