please give your opinion, becuase i mean if it does work my mom wouldn't have to go to work anymore she could just stay home from now on and i would be able to give a payment to a house all by myself and i could have money.

Comone 5 grand a month is good, my family could live of that and have money left over.

Well, obviously I know WHAT affects it negativley -slow pay, no pay, being over your credit limit, etc. But, what I want to know is how do the 3 credit agencies ( TransUnion, Equifax, and ? can't think of the other one) put a point values up and/or down on things. For example - let's say you are late on paying your VISA card, by more than a month. So, they report as a "30 day past due" How does that affect your credit? Does that reporting cause your score to go down 5 points, 40 points, etc. ? Then, what action brings the score back up, and how many points at a time? Let's say I pay off the entire balance of a credit card, then close out that account... does that raise it up another 10 pionts, or as much as 50 pionts??? How long does it take for a bad reporting to "fall off " of your credit report. I know that each time a lender "pulls" your credit report, that in itself causes your score to drop. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who actually knows FACT regarding this-thanks

Kind of a dumb question hah.. but tommorow, Saturday, I'm having a yard sale.

I live in a Suburban neighborhood.

I'm 16, and not the most muscular guy in the world hah...

And it just so happens that I couldn't snag a friend in time to do my yard sale with me.

Just wondering if I should take a knife or something to defend myself with.. I doubt it, but ya never know.. Someone up to no good sees an unsuspecting kid by himself, who's obviously got money and electronics around him, and might try to rob me or take off with something of mine..

Is theft and robbery really an issue at yard and garage sales?

It did not work for me. I was a bookworm and always got on the honor role, but this does not seem to matter in the working business world. I see alot of racial or cultural favortism that translates to who is the ingroup at work resulting in who gets promoted. Much of this has nothing to do with performance and intelligence but rater social acceptability. I am nonwhite, and I say this because I believe that white people don't know it when they exclude others because of color and ethinicity, they will never admit it but i experience it daily and see who gets favortism, not due to merit but rather the common "color" social factor. So you white people, whether you know it or not, there is such a thing as white racial isolationists or white syndrome.
