Does the fact that D has a position in the IT industry, allow him to fight poverty is a special manner?

For most people that are paid a salary or work for a living; donating $$ is the quickest and most practical way to help fight poverty. Also, simply because a person might have what sounds like a good, solid and important job doesn't mean they have any special skills, talents or insights that can fight poverty.

In addition to donating $$ to fight poverty, taking time out of our schedules to help teach or train others to improve their own lives is one way most of us can help.

Obviously and unfortunately there isn't a single or simply answer to your question.
