I am an alien living(legally) in the US. I am all set to register a Corp. I have done research as to which entity and have decide on corp. (Ok agreed ) got to pay double tax, but it works for me.

I would be selling software and software services and my clients can be in any state in US or even abroad. I might also have to partner with other companies around the world. So I like to know which state is best to register my company that can avail good tax benefits and import/export are going to be easy and clear.

Anyhow I will have to talk to CA or attorney. But Just want to have opinion from people who actually are doing businesses.

Thanks.

Obviously a large portion of the American population is in debt...I’m approaching my mid-twenties and the whole idea of owing credit card companies $$ and starting to save for a house (and I live in CA) is kind of stressing me out...(I'm paying for silly mistakes I made in college) oh well, eventually I will pay them off :) Have a wonderful Friday night!

I live in shared apartment. My roommate who was the main person on the lease is moving to a different state. I cannot take over the lease because I don't make enough money. I plan to post a classified ad to find someone who can take over the lease. Is it a bad idea? What are the potential pitfalls? What to be aware of?

Bought my house 2 1/2 years ago, on a fixed-rate 30 year mortgage.

I'm looking to lower my monthly payments. Should I refinance? With closing costs and rates much higher now, will that lower my payments? I've thought about doing a HELOC, though if you borrow $ to pay borrowed money, that makes little sense.

I'm making good money and can currently afford my mortgage but am trying to plan for a worst case scenario if I get laid off and have a few months b/tw jobs...

I am planning to write a new yellow page advertisment for my organization. While looking through the yellow pages I notice that most yellow page ads are nothing more than large business cards with the customer's name at the top.

!. What can I do differently to stand out in the yellow page advertisment?

2. How can I track my response rate of a yellow page advertisment?

I had a totally lousy experience with Wells Fargo.....at the time I didn't have that much income and he more or less sarcastically told me to "go buy a house". That was uncalled for. He knew I couldn't afford to do so.

Do you think it's better to list out only a few things as specific bequests on a will or to list out a lot? I know the ultimate will be up to me as it's my will and I can list out all I want. But I'm interested to what your answers are? Trying to identify many specific items is a way to be thorough, but it's a pain to do, and by the time I die, the stuff that I list today might have broke by then. Yet, do only list out a few things make me feel like I'm forgetting something and someone. Thanks.
