I am an alien living(legally) in the US. I am all set to register a Corp. I have done research as to which entity and have decide on corp. (Ok agreed ) got to pay double tax, but it works for me.
I would be selling software and software services and my clients can be in any state in US or even abroad. I might also have to partner with other companies around the world. So I like to know which state is best to register my company that can avail good tax benefits and import/export are going to be easy and clear.
Anyhow I will have to talk to CA or attorney. But Just want to have opinion from people who actually are doing businesses.

Eithr DE, FL, or NV for the maximum tax benefit. There are companies out there that will help you incorporate your business for a nominal fee. One of my favorites is The Company Corporation.
