you usually need to have sex to get pregnant unless you are talking about IVF, which if that is the case, you can get pregnant without sex with the opposit sex.

If it's been 9 months since you had sex and you haven't had a baby yet, you are probably safe. If it is less than 9 months, take a pregnancy test. In some cases, there are few signs. Not having your period could mean pregnancy (or some other problem).
If you mean is it safe to have sex when it has been a long time, no, it isn't safe. You can get pregnant the first time you have sex, even if it has been years since the last time.

If it has been a long time sence you had sex with a male than you will not get pregnant until you have sex again, or though artificial means.
Other extreme options that may occure.
If like someone mention he has sperm on his hands and enter you with one of them or you have it on your hands and enter yourself. It has been known to happen that virgins became pregnant because they were into heavy petting, and rubbing against each other releasing large amounts of body fluids in the vagina area. This has been documented by physicians.

The possibility of getting pregnant has nothing to do with when you last had sex. It doesn't matter if it's been 10 years since the last time, if you're having sex with no protection (you're crazy) you can get pregnant. Period!

if a guy ejaculates and the semen is on his hand, if he puts his fingers inside you, it's not impossible for you to get pregnant from that. but if nothing like htat has happened in a long time, and your pregnant, then you've been pregnant for a while.

There are only two ways to get pregnant. One is via artificial insemination and the other is by having vaginal intercourse. You are safe if you have had neither.

NO...sperm only lives in the body for a few days so once that time period has lapsed, there's no way pregnancy can occur.

Frequency of act doesn't determine whether you get pregnant. What determines it is whether you are ovulating at the time a potent man gives you his sperm.
