trying to see what to go to school for but before i pay for whatever i'm interested in going to i want to see what i could possibly be making once in the field!!

I see a lot of offers for "free" credit reports but they are never really free. I am figuring that since the credit score is just a useless number it would be just as good to have people here give me my credit score. I will average out the answers and use that as my credit score.

I have been told recently that you can no longer file for bankruptcy on credit card debt. I am curious if this is true and if it is; what is someone $40,000 in credit card debt trying to get an education and support a family supposed to do? I have one credit card that refuses to work with credit agencies. What do I do now? I know it is my debt, but I was a young single mother and now I am in way over my head; barely living from paycheck to paycheck. What can I do to survive while I try to finish college and support my family?

I had some huge credit and banking problems and filed bankruptcy last year. Everything was discharged in Feb 2006. Now, I am back on my feet again in a big way, and I can't get a bank account anywhere. Does anyone know of a bank that will work with me? My mattress is getting lumpy!

Everything is falling apart. Kids are getting stole, beaten, raped...ect. People are doing horrible things to other people, and to themselfs. This world is falling apart very slwoly and we do nothing about it. They try to control us but, we are just humans. Its stupid that we have to pay to live. Damn...Its not our fault we were born. We are trying to buy a home and just wanted to know if it was possible to get financed with out having to put a down payment or a huge down payment. Our credit isn't the best, but think it is good enough to quialify for a loan. Just don't know if it is good enough to qualify for no down payment. Any advice on if this can be done with no huge down payment.

I found out that a man that I used to live with claimed me as a dependent without my knowledge or permission. I was living in his home but I was working and paying for myself. I even loaned him at least 5,000 which he won’t pay me back now. So I don’t feel like I was his dependent, just because I lived in his home and did not pay rent. I cooked cleaned and watched his child, not to mention I helped him with designing a webpage for his business, and helped him with a lot other work related assistance with his two businesses, without pay, just to help us both out. He also claimed me as part owner of his business, without my permission. He says that is not claiming me as a dependent now, and that he has taken me off what ever papers say that I am part owner of his business. I figure that I really should call the IRS for sure, but still I am nervous he will do it again. Do people think that I should, or can I take him to court for these issues with the taxes, or the other things?
