It's not you. The job market is REALLY tough right now. Those that haven't been in the situation can't relate. Just remember there are MANY people unemployed and going through the same thing. It's an employers market right now. You may be the best qualified, but someone else may do it cheaper. It's about the dollar dollar bill right now.
Don't give up, keep you head up and KNOW that it's going to get better. You have to believe that it will in order for things to turn around. If you have a defeatest attitude, you will be defeated. So how do you boost your confidence? You say, I think I can, I think I can... I know I can...

maybe you come over fine in the rest of the interviews, but the final you let your down on something.
be this you appear to needy (needy as in desperate for the job) or too disinterested, learn how to minick body language and appear interested but not egar.
also I was told that appearances and 1st impression on final interview day count, also without showing off show them that you have found out a bit about the company history when they have been asked if you have questions ask any you have and then slip the bit about you never knew until you happened to find an article that the actally first made leather mens coats before chaning to mostly ladies outdoor wear or whatever and maybe ask them to tell you a bit more as to why they branched out and then scraped the leather mens jackets and hope you haven't stumped the interviewer, proving you have good research skills, and an interest in them.
but you get the idea, appear interested even if the histry lesson is boring, but if it is, maybe you should be honest with yourself and say well if this boring, do I really want to work 4 them???
best of luck in future

It will be better if you tell us about yourself. What job are you looking for?
What you need to remember is that though your application got through to the final stages you will always put yourself in good stead by making improvements, employers still consider what you said on the application, even if your interview went badly or well for that matter.
So look at your application and think how you can creatively improve on it. I don't mean lying.

Do you take pride in your achademic achievements? Do you find yourself intellectually motivated? Whatever your answer may be to this question the fact remains the same that we all are the same.
Sense of achievement, brilliance and inspiration we usually associate with our education. Once our education is complete we go out in a world that we find is more realistic and very demanding where you are supposed to share the best in you with people who are strangers to start with but are still like you.
The key to boost your self-confidence is in rousing your interest in people who have people working with them, and situations of employment and work.

you might want to have a friend who will be honest with you do role playing with you and pretend to interview you, perhaps video tape the interview and see if there is something you can do differently or look into taking classes in presentation or interviewing.
