I want to buy a house, and I received a preapproved
letter of credit from BOFA for 50,000 with a monthly payment of
735.00 for 96 months and a rate of 7.99% APR (there is
also a 3% transaction fee) . do you think is this a
good idea to put this money for a house down payment as opposed to do 80/20 mortgage with no down payment with the first being 7.00 and the second mortage being 8.99 APR?? will that make sense???? will my score (773, 745. 698) go lower if i do this and maybe my APR will be higher????

I was pushed out of my last job because of my age. However, I was paid severance pay of 6 weeks; I think this was for my boss to cover himself legally. I have applied for at least 300 jobs and still no job. I was not asked why I was quitting my job, and I did not put the reason in my resignation letter. On my Human Resources form I put the reason as opportunity for learning & advancement. When asked in an interview why I left, I give that reason because in my last conversation with my boss before quitting I reminded him that in my initial interview he said there would be promotion possibilities. He said he did not say that. I don't know what he is saying when he is called as a reference for me. I did a great job which was reflected on my reviews. I have had at least 15 interviews and have applied for at least 250 jobs, but still no job. I am a very fit 62 year old; 118 lbs, in great shape physically and mentally; continually wanting to learn new things. Please help!!!

I'm feeling trapped. My boss has a problem with me and I think the best thing to do would be to change jobs but I've been looking for a while and can't find anything at this level. I'd be willing to take a pay cut but just can't afford to take too much of a cut . I think she'd like to get rid of me but it's not so easy because I've had a very good reputation with her boss and peers. Some of the things she's trying to implement are going to be detrimental to our office and work (and staff) and I've voiced my concerns and because of this she has told me exactly what she thinks of me and it's all very negative. She is a pretty ruthless woman and I see myself being isolated with my reputation rapidly going downhill. As she also has (I think) a good reputation with her peers and her boss I am reluctant to bring my so-called 'negativity' to their attention. Our HR dept also report to her.

After 5 months of reporting the water leak, broken dishwasher, useless stove, and leaking ceiling, and no responses from apts. i decided to call the city. They came, inspected, and got the apartments right on it. It was fixed the following day. The next day i recieved a "lock out notice" because of some late charges that dated 3 or 4 months previous. The manager was claiming it was rent. So anyways she made our lives a nightmare...........okay to make a long story short she filed eviction, and when i went to court she didnt show up so the judge dismissed the case. Can she go back and sue me again for the late charges? Or what happens now?

Tell us the brand name and what the item is.
My favorite brand is Blue Bell ice cream. I can handle knock off's of just about anything, but the best ice cream around is Blue Bell.

So before you give me an answer I'll give you a little bit of background. I'm a 25 year old who has been investing through a broker for the past 4 years. I want to take more control and hopefully get better returns.

My annual salary is $90,000. I have approximately $12,000 in my previous employer's 401k program and $27,000 in a fidelity money market account and distributed among various mutual funds. Recently I just relocated and sold my home leaving me with about $20,000 to invest. I have quite managable debt, a student loan, a car payment and some old hospitable bills all with low interest.

I have started doing some research but it seems quite complicated. If someone could provide some guidance or even a good place to start I would be grateful. Thanks in advance!

So which letter do I send?
