I dont really have a permanent job, but I heard that the sooner you contribute, the more you have later. I just want to know the options and what I can do about it. Is there anything I can do?

I am in NY and talking to companies in FL with plans of relocating. One company in particular I am very interested in. I just want to make sure it is worth my while to go down there and interview. I am a recent college grad with a decent job here in NY but would like to move to FL. What kinds of things should I ask them to do differently because I am so far away. I would like to do as much over the phone as possible. Are there any keys to know if it is worth the flight and money to go interview. Any advice would be great.

While back in college, I left a cable bill unpaid. It went to a collection agency. It is for a minimal amount of $122.62. It has now been 4 years since it showed up on my credit report. After reading many different answers, I am unsure as to how to proceed. Besides this one deliquency, I do not have any marks on my credit report.

1. I can pay for the debt. It will still show up as a deliquency and will probably keep showing up on my credit reports for the next 7 years after I paid it. (just read that they can keep it on my report for seven years after the last payment)

2. Don't pay it, live with the bad credit for the next 3 years until it is wiped off my report.

Not sure what to do. Thanks in advance.

I am this close to accepting a job with a with the marketing arm of a foreign manufacturer. In fact, there are so few people, the company does not offer health insurance. While I can keep my insurance through COBRA I would like to find a good health insurance through another company? What are some good websites I can investigate to find a suitable replacement?

To give or not to give that is the question. Do you all beleive everything you read on the net. I came across a sight where some lady was begging for money for a hummer. I found another where a mother needed help paying her bills. I sent her a doller. it was crazy but i fell for the heartwarming story. Makeamommyrich@paypal.com was the paypal address. Do you think it is wrong for people to beg for money. How can you tell if the story was true? my husband said i was crazy to send a penny what would you do.

I paid my mortgage online on the 31st of last month. So it was late, but not 30 days late. I was checking my bank account online, an the payment had not gone through yet. I had printed out my reciept, like I always do, and I realized i pressed 'print' but not 'submit'. So my payment was never taken out!! Before I figured it out, I called my mortgage company and asked them to look into why my account was not debited. They will call me back tomorrow, and I will explain what happened. Can they change it? I am trying to pay everything on time, as my credit is poor from being stupid in my college years.
Help!!

I'm in retail, but I'm talking more about a commission-based sales-type job, where you go and talk to people......an account rep. sort of thing. I was just getting ready to call Visa up to cancel my credit card since I don't use/need it anymore, but today I received my new card in the mail. If I don't renew it, will I get in any sort of trouble with Visa? I was just wondering since this may save me some time with them over the phone.

Trying to find info on money grants is somewhat difficult. I'm trying to find info on grants for home improvement, building, etc & so forth. Too many of those that pop up on the internet & in ads advertising free money & grants that I know are fake or have major catches to them. All those 1-800 numbers - don't even call because they are probably a scam. Really looking for the real deal true grants. Thanks for any info!

GE's stock price action as demonstrated on this chart shows a 2year series of lower highs and lower lows as plain as day.This is a sign of stock weakness...GE is a stalwart of the US economy as they have businesses in various industries, like Aerospace, Finance, Consumer goods, Insurance, etc and is a reflection of US economy....take a look at this chart and tell me what you think(if you want to anyway, no answer goes unchecked)...Is the Economy in the USA as strong as we are told? Is a "great depression 2" in the making?
