I want staff / partner who is in it for the long run to help grow the company. I have more work than I can undertake on my own or using sub-contractors . How do i find good staff / partners to help me take my buissness to the next level ??

try an apprentice- won't have to pay as much, get help from the government and employee wants to learn. though might take a little while for them to a real asset...

Be very careful in what you're thinking about taking your business to the next level as you call it.
Is there a specific reason you need another person on board at the moment?
Is it the logistics of getting the work, you have pending, physically completed?
Are you talking about another person to put additional funding into the company in order that you do not have a cash flow problem while you are completing this work?
If the answer to these 2 questions is no, then perhaps you are talking about needing someone who will keep the momentum of work coming in by out sourcing [there's very good ways of doing that within the construction industry, but don't flood yourself taking on too much, as reputation takes time to build up].
Actually, there's too many hypothesis to discuss here at the moment, but I've done this myself, been very successful, but also learnt from my mistakes. Contact me if you like.

Id love to go into a growing expanding business as a partner but unfortunately, I can't build.
I have lots of management, recruitment and facilitating experience etc. Ran several businesses with my husband but for every 4 steps I took it forward he dragged it back 5. Decided to opt out now.
Maybe you need a partner who will look at the business side of things as opposed to the actual building.
Hey stop looking you've found HER.

if you already have staff , or if you are planning to hire new staff ,make SURE you keep them motivated , now you can ask how can you keep them motivated , set them a goal , and make sure you treat them when they achieve that goal for you ( a bonus etc) , encouage them when they go out of the way for you ( extra hours , late night work) , make your self always available for them , as you are the head of that company so that they can share their problems with you and last but not LEAST always be HONEST with them, because their confidence will be your key to success,
i am also currently looking for a job , if you cant do it for your self , hire me !!!

I might be willing to entertain the idea. But I don't know what kind of company you have.

I'm looking for a business opportunity, i'll have my MBA in less than a month.
