To give or not to give that is the question. Do you all beleive everything you read on the net. I came across a sight where some lady was begging for money for a hummer. I found another where a mother needed help paying her bills. I sent her a doller. it was crazy but i fell for the heartwarming story. Makeamommyrich@paypal.com was the paypal address. Do you think it is wrong for people to beg for money. How can you tell if the story was true? my husband said i was crazy to send a penny what would you do.

It doesn't matter if it is true or not, needing a car doesn't rate rate as a life-giving necessity.

If you wish to help (which is great! - I do), there are other ways of contributing, such as to registered charities/organisations, or by volunteering your time and energy to causes you believe in. I contribute regularly to 3 organisations and volunteer my time as well.

I would ignore them. They are probably the same people who accost you in the parking lot every week and tell you they need money for gas for their car.

i agree-- if they can afford the internet, then it's fishy.

besides, the time they spend on the internet begging for money is time that they could spend WORKING at a REAL job.
