From 1996-2001, I held 4 jobs in the mortgage industry with a tenure of 6-18 months per job. This is killing my job search because it shows I'm a job hopper, as several recruiters have pointed out. I'm considering consolidating those 4 jobs into one job listing with one out of business former employer, showing employment with them from 1996-2001; the responsibilities were the same in all jobs, so I wouldn't be lying about what I did, just who I did it for.

I want to work in Securities Analysis- I have an MBA and took the Level I CFA exam in June.

My concern is I already filed a U-4 with the NASD which shows my true job history. What are the chances an employer will compare my resume to the U-4 that gets transferred to them?

Don't spout crap about, "Lying on your resume is wrong"...I've been honest on my resume and since I got my MBA the best job I could get was making $11.75/hour; I've travelled throughout the country looking for work with no results using my true resume

And what other economic data release do you think has substantial impact on the EUR/USD pair? ie non-farm payroll , unemployment rate, trade balance, what else? I am a fundamentalist trader and would like to exchange thoughts with others. :)

I recently moved into a rental, and have noticed a few sanitary and appearance problems that could possibly be blamed on me a few years down the road after I've moved out.

For instance, the grout in the bathroom is dirty and old, so I can imagine what it will look like a few years from now.

To avoid having my security deposit withheld in the future for these problems, I have tried to get in touch with the owners to show them the problems, and possibly sign off on the letter I've typed listing everything.

They seem to be avoiding me, so I'm worried that I may miss the legal grace period to notify them in writing. How much time do I have to do this after moving in? Also, if the owners don't agree or refuse to sign my checklist, what happens at that point?

I typed the letter with noted issues last week, and took pictures. If I get the letter notarized, must I change the date on the letter to agree with the notarized date? Any and all advice would be helpful.

Thanks

I'm thinking about going it alone but I'm a bit scared. What do you do? Has it been worth it for you? Do you work more or less than before? Has it been difficult? Has your income risen? Would you recommend doing it? Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences!

I returned home from work yesterday and found a Notice to Quit at my door. The notice is for non-payment of rent. I've had an automatic payment setup for a year, now this. When I renewed my lease I was told that I was all set and the rent would continue to be taken from a checking account. I received no telephone calls or messages. I will be talking with them this morning. My question is: Is there anything negative on my credit at this point?

in april my house was broken into. first homeowners claim EVER. a fraud investigator showed up, questioned me, then told me he thought that i was involved! i gave him store receipts and cell phone records to show proof that i was out of calling area that night, but i blacked out the numbers. it still shows time and duration. he now wants those numbers. i don't think that is necessary for his investigation. there will never be evidence that i was involved (because i wasn't), and it seems a) he's already found me guilty--is just now trying to find proof, and b) he's dragging his feet to sign off on this investigation. as i'm not familiar with any of this i could use some guidance. thanks!
