Mine was when I was 14, I got two jobs working for the same woman. One was babysitting her two kids that summer while they were out of school and their dad was at work, I got paid $100/week, which usually averaged about $6/hour for two girls 8 and 10 years old I think. The other job was working at a Veterinary Clinic for about $5/hour where she was the manager. But the job was pretty much to do whatever they told me to, and I eventually ended up working in the kennel for about three more years after that summer. That summer though, I alternated weeks between babysitting and the Vet's office.

$2.10 per hour...waiting tables for a very small restaurant. I hated that job because I was required to report a certain amount each day in tips even if I got no tips that day or I would be fired. This was true for all waitresses. Out of business now...probably for breaking labor laws. I was 17. I will never ever wait tables again.

I was 16 and did simple computer network setup, installed softaware and programmed in c++ all for about 1000$ a year. I'm not kidding, that's what people were paid in the 1990s in Romania and I was making a LOT. It was awesome!

$4.75 McDonalds when I was 15 yrs old (1994). Within 4 months I was pretty much dictating what I was going to do and what I was NOT going to do (kitchen, mopping). That's when I realized I was a leader, not a follower.
