I do a few different, basic things to make extra money from the Internet. What I do doesn't cost any money to start or join and after a little time and efffort, I make a good monthly income at my own pace! Maybe they are suited for you!
(1) Sell unwanted items that you have at home on local or international "auction" sites !
(2) Having your own website / blog can make you some real good money, it takes a little time and effort but if designed correctly, you can make some real money. Also because the Internet is open 24/7, you can make extra money even when you are off the computer
(3) You can also make a little extra pocket change by doing simple things like doing surveys, "reading emails", etc. Depends on who you sign up with, you might spend a 1/2 hour a day doing this
Here are some helpful links:

I don't have any black & white answers but here's some advice to avoid scams. Don't even look at ads that boldly advertise, "Work from Home!!!" Seek out specific jobs that are relative to your skills for a reputable company. I don't see any reason why a pure data entry job would need an employee to work from the office rather than from home. Also, if you are disabled there should be organizations that can help place you in a job. I'm not familiar with any, but an Internet search should yield some simple results.

Very few of the work from home deals are legit. I would concentrate on the job boards like hotjobs or the clerical ones and look for work-from-home options.

Of course you will need to set yourself up with a pro level home office with computer, MS office, high speed internet, fax, speakerphone, etc. for teleconferencing.

If you are covered under some sort of insurance would they consider funding it and becoming a small business? "Typing R Us" sort of thing...

Try advertising at the hospitals and medical centres for transcription services, etc.

Phone around and find out what requirements the hospitals have for this sort of thing and see what certifications you need. Try to get certified as a typist or transcriptions person at a Community College according to the feedback you get. That will help.

Also take a look at entrepreneurial startup/ business plan training locally available.

Also, if you haven't already, see if there is an ILC near you. A starter link is below.

There are lots of ways to earn money from home online and offline. Not knowing your limitations, you can check this out. www.infoworthsharing.blogspot.com and maybe get some ideas.

In my opinion, it is better to start a business that you can build that will continue to grow rather than just have a "job" Afterall, a job is just over broke.

Anything you do will take work and time. If this is something you want to do, then make the decision to do it and then keep at it.

There are actually a lot of medical companies that hire people to do data entry from home if you can find them. Also, data mining is still a pretty big industry and you might be able to work it from home.

With your skills you should look into freelance writing jobs or other freelance work.

Many employers are finding that they can outsource their work to and get quality work without the overhead incurred if they were a full-time employee.
