I have been doing artwork and computer graphics my whole life, and I am quite good at it. How can I make money doing it, without a degree?

My folks gave me their place when they hit their mid 70s. It's a big uplex on 2 1/2 acres just out of town. I never thought I would ever see the day I had no house payment. Now I pay property taxes and insurance that comes to as much as I was paying for my last home every year. I think our Government needs another civil war. How do people make it with big mortgages and kids anymore?

Capital One sent me an offer for a pre-approved Preferred Plus Platinum MC with a credit line of up to $5000.

But I already have a MC with Capital One and had one for the past two years.

I mean I'd prefer that they just raise my credit limit on my old card instead of another account. So why are they doing this? Is there an advantage for them somehow? It's a no annual fee card.

I just finished completing the basics of my website and I think I will start advertising in about 1 month. There are a few pages that needs to be worked on, but overall the hard part is completed. I need some opinions to see if there are some minor changes or additions that I need to add. This will serve as a survey for me so that I can create the best site for my products. My website is www.newbornexpression.com. I don't mind constructive criticism either, as I enjoy learning from others!

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd prefer to hear from someone who's actually DONE this. I think my skills are decent, but it'd be great if anyone knows of any company or companies that have a website on which you display your data entry abilities thru tests, that the company can see. Does anything like this exist?

I am already working as a personal trainer at this gym called Curves. I just got a phone call from this tutoring place called "Casa", which is an after school day care program for immigrant children. I used to do voulenteer service hours there, and I loved it. Now they are asking me to go work there. Another this is I want to be teacher when I grow up, so this can be good.
Advatages of Curves: I get to do my homework while I am getting paid b/c sometimes people never come. I like the people. My boss is awesome. Disadvantages: I get paid 6.50 an hr. I have to pay for parking which is $6 a day, and I work for 6 or more hrs. and sometimes on saturdays.
Advantages of Casa: I get paid $8 an hr. free parking, I dont work on weekends. I only work for about 4 hrs a day. It's right next to my school so i can go there straight from school.I love children, and my boss would also be awesome. Disadvantages of Casa: I don't get to do my h/w while getting paid so I have to take my own time.

I have a small pension fund which is due. According to legislation passed in April 2006, I am entitled to the whole amount as a lump sum. This is just under £13,000. 25% of this is free of tax but the remainder will be taxed using an 'emergency' code on a 'Week 1' basis as if it was earned in 2006 ... in other words, I would seem to pay far more tax on it than if I were to take the 'Lump sum and yearly income' option.

Will I be able to claim this tax back, perhaps, over the next six years, if my income is really nowhere near this when averaged over a period of time?

Would I definitely be better off taking one of the 'Lump sum and yearly income' options? My bank won't advise me (in so many words) and the Insurance company simply say that they don't like the way it is so complex.
