Yes, they do. I used to work there. When you're employed with Walmart you get a discount card that will take 10% off of the total amount of purchase. Let's say you buy a few things and it comes out to $21.50 Give your card to the cashier and they will scan it and 10% will come off the total price of $21.50 Please keep in mind though, you can NOT use the discount card on Lay-a-way, clearance, food, or alcohol/tobacco items.
Also, if you're married then your spouse will also get a card, but it will have their name on it. If you're not married then you can only use the card for yourself.
All of this should be/should have been explained to you during your orientation. It's also in the employee handbook.

Yeah it's %10. Terms are that the discount is for you only...no family members. That's the way it was when I worked there 4 years ago.

Yes they receive a 10% discount on everything except alcohol, cigs, gas(if there's a gas station with it) and clearance items.
