I know someone who wrote several bad checks that bounced to Target and Walmart about six months back, Will there ever be a big problem or will it just go to collections? It was the state of Missouri.

I'm a financial planner, and EVERYONE in our industry (not just our company, but our industry as a whole) that I have talked to believes Suze Orman is an idiot. Peddling really bad information. I'm not exagerating either...not one person in our industry that I have visited with, likes what she has to say. What do you think?

I'm a student, part-time worker and I put only myself as dependant. I have a thirty hour work week on ten dollars per hour. So, I make about 300 before taxes. How much will they take away from my paycheck for taxes?

Thanks!

Target has the lowest prices, cleanest stores, and most attentive and positive employees! I can't bring myself to shop anywhere else! Who agrees with me?!

I am trying to purchase a car my credit is pretty low...I tried and I couldn't even get a $20,000 car, the bank was only willing to give me $8,000. The reason is I have a charge off on my credit from my VERY first car. I still owe that company 4k. The car doesn't work and is worth nothing. So I'm stuck with it. I was a different person then and at a different point in my life. I have a steady income now, but I feel like this charge off is a scarlet letter! What can I do???

Since MOST school districts in the USA are doing poorly (and will continue to underperform) can anyone think of a way to invest and profit from this? Local state stock shares? State Bonds? REITs?

If you are limited to a few thousand dollars, are you better off buying a large amount of shares in a few companies or a small amount of shares in various groups?

There are about 12 companies that I love, but I only have 3k that I want to start with.

I was offered a program by a Sears customer service rep to bring my acct. back to good standing. The offer was no finance charges and no late fees for a year. Which started in Nov 05? As of January I've been charged finance charges. I've called them numerous times between Feb and Today. Every time I call I get transferred to a supervisor or a manager. They say there was a computer glitch and to call back anywhere between a couple of days to a month to verify that the charges are credited back to the acct. I am on program: 148, status code: 42, whatever that means. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

We'd like to start a business venture that my wife could manage while she is both pregnant at home and then when we have the child, so on and so forth. We'd like it to provide us supplemental income at first then grow into something more later on. I thought about rental property but being a landlord can be a pain. Any other suggestions?
