I was offered a program by a Sears customer service rep to bring my acct. back to good standing. The offer was no finance charges and no late fees for a year. Which started in Nov 05? As of January I've been charged finance charges. I've called them numerous times between Feb and Today. Every time I call I get transferred to a supervisor or a manager. They say there was a computer glitch and to call back anywhere between a couple of days to a month to verify that the charges are credited back to the acct. I am on program: 148, status code: 42, whatever that means. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Have you ever been late during that period? Maybe that is where the finance charge is coming from. What works for me, every payday I make a payment. That way you are ahead, even if you pay a small amount. I also take what the ask me to pay, add what finance charge they list, and then round up. That may also help. I would definately speak to someone at Sears and work with them to resolve this. Good Luck.
