FYI.....I pay my bills. This one was only & day or two late because I mailed it instead of paying it on-line & they called non-stop.

Calling (and I think this is correct) after 9:00pm( or maybe it is 10:00pm) or before 8:00 am. Multiple calls; rude calls. Badgering you for a payment. Maybe you could also check with a legal service.

They cannot call more than once a day.
They cannot use abusive or threatening tactics.
They cannot discuss the debt with anyone other than the debtor.
They cannot call before 8am or after 9pm.

Those are just a few of the laws, I would suggest going to the FDCPA site I've listed and do some reading.

There are laws that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. You may wish to check the e-laws on your state or province's website for legislation or to contact your consumer affairs ministry to see if this does constitute harassment. Also, check your agreement with your lender to see if there are late dues or other consequences to late payments.

Pay the debt and the creditor vanishes like magic.

If you have an agreement to pay, you're abiding by it and they continue to call. Otherwise, you're fair game.
