I did the job corectly, my manger did not review my files before signing them and returning them in, but she did not get bagged, then I turn in a report that had not errors on it and was done correctly, my ex-noss tells me that he could belive that I had no errors on that report.

I think someone was just worried you could do the job better than them!

Maybe because he felt you were more suited for the job at the other firm and weren't suited for the job at his place. A lot of times when someone fires you it's easy to take it personally but many times it's not personal it's just that the employer doesn't think you're able to do the job you were assigned to at his firm and so perhaps this employer has found work at this other firm that he thinks you'd be very well suited for.
