Hair - December 2006

i have a round face with small eyes and a big nose. i have bangs, and medium hair length. the color of my hair now is brown.

and my skin color is pale, and i have high cheek bones, with dark under eye cirlces, and my hair is wavy and slightly healthy.

should i all one color or highlights or different colors to make me more interresting and hide my big nose and small eyes!

And do you have any tips to help me transcend from this dull dyed brown color to what I believe will be a cool silver/black hair color? I'm 46 and SICK of dying my hair - my roots now are about 1/2 inch and I think, by looking at these roots, it will be a really stricking hair color when it's grown out. But I'm a little nervous about making such a drastic (albeit slow) change. Will I be perceived differently with predominately gray hair? Please tell me your experiences!

I have black hair, dark brown eyes, and fair skin. I have never colored my hair before. I would like to add some "not-too-noticeable" highlights, that would blend with my black hair, but still create a warm, classy look. What color can I choose? I plan to go to a salon. Would it be wise to relax the back section of my hair again if the front took well and the back didn't take well at all? Could doing it again cause a lot of damage? Help!

has anyone tried Perfectil, i'm thinking of trying it because my hair is just so horrible at the moment, it use to be so thick and glossy but lately its just weak and dull looking and a fair bit is falling out. I have blood tests but they have come back clear and the doctor says there isnt much wrong, but ever since i was on steroids (for crohn's disease) my hair got this bad and i really hate it, i wanna try this but dont want to try it and spend the money for it if it doesnt work

Did it cover all the gray hair successfully? How many times could you wash your hair before having to dye it again? Did you find a downside in using this product?
