im nearly 17 and i still cant grow a decent amount of facial hair
what can i do to improve my situation

just keep shaving,and it will grow more and more as you shave.

Shaving will make it grow in thicker and faster as time goes on. To be honest, I couldn't grow peach hairs on my chin to save my life before entering the military. Shaving everyday afterwards, now I can grow a beard in the matter of a week. See how it works.

if you really want facial hair just keep shaving every other day and you will soon begin to grow the hair. either way I'm sure you look good and are kool.

you know i just heard on the fox news channel this morning that in some cases,rogaine has helped men with facial hair and you can get in the dept stores..
