Not to any dramatic extent no. If you rinse your hair in lemon juice it will make it a bit shinier when you come to dry it, and will highlight and pick out the lighter bits on a temporary kinda basis....but dont expect any noticeable exciting difference in lightness.......you really will need proper bleach to get your hair lighter effectively....which i would def have done professionally so as to avoid hair disasters!

Yes - somewhat.

If you have light colored hair, it will bring out your highlights. If you have dark hair - it will give a reddish hue.

Lemon juice is a mild bleaching agent - you don't have to blow dry it, you can sit with it on your head in the sun!
