where can i get my hair dyed at a hair school in Ft meyers or naples? i know they have a open time to go and the students do your hair.

As a child i had really, really, really long healthy hair. But then i became a teenager and started dying and cutting my hair like a crazy person lol.
Now coming into adulthood, i'm trying to get back my healthy head of hair and grow it SUPER LONG! I started by cutting most of the damaged hair off back in May of this year, to a shoulder length. Since, it has grown to about my bra strap.
My hair is super curly and a bit on the dry side. Is there any advice (especially from people who have the super long manes) on growing long, healthy hair?

u know guys how ur hair becomes when u regularly iron then wven when u use the protective crems and sprays...they still look like a haystack after some time.....how can u have natural silky hair ......

I have pretty short hair, and really want extentions, like - if you ever go to myspace and see the girls with it short on top and then long long extensions, I have the short part, now I just want extensions. If I were to get the kind with the track and someone weaving it in, wouldn't my hair be too short to actually make a track? And with the glue, it just sounds like it's stupid - I wear fake eyelashes and that already frustrates me enough. I'm thinking of making my own clip-ins - they sound easy and less expensive, which will go through with using my mom's money (haha).

Any suggestions though?

I don't want all of it coloured, just a few highlights. But, do I have to bleach it first? Cause that's what I've heard. With the risk of it, what do you think? I'm going to do it anyway, but still, what should it be better, purple or green (a shade of purple or green that's very close to my natural colour-chestnut)?? And,by the way, where can I buy hair mascara? I only saw smtg like it in carnavals, can I buy it in any drugstore?

i guess im like medium complected, im tired of dark hair, so im look for something thta will stand out more, i will be getting extensions soon since i have really short hair.. please some one help me out.. and i already had like a honey with blonde hilites(sp) and it didnt really suit me..

I have green eyes, dark brown hair, pale (and I mean PALE) skin.
I've dyed my hair red, black, orange kind of blonde, and I've used "sun-in". All those times my haircolour looked bad. I really want to go blonde now though... I just don't know what shade, and if it would actually look ok. If I did go blonde I'd bleatch my eyebrows as well.

When asked about straightners people immediately answer GHD , but iam put off by the price, And many of the popular ones such as Babyliss pro 230 (good reviews in amazon) say they have got only tourmaline or ceramic coating which means their coating is definetly going rip off sooner or later. So the ones i have selected are PHILIPS tresemme jade pro ceramic , Toni & Guy 25mm tourmaline seriously straight ones which are available at a less price.

But which is best?, i mean jade plates seems to protect hair color keeping the heat in the plates rather than transfering to the hair so less damage while Tourmaline coating gives negative ions to reduce frizz but i dont know if they transfer the heat but there is much hype and emphasis on this ionic hair straightners and jade ones are only found in philips ( i think its not so popular ). I dont know which to believe so i thought of asking someone who owns this for a longer time and can give me a better technical advice about straightners.

I wanna be blonde again. So what's the best way to approach getting back to a really light blonde color again since I have a dark brown hair? Frosting little by little, or highlighting little by little?

I'm afraid the stylist won't be as good and won't get the right color blonde, so what would be the best way to approach it? So I don't have to wait for it to grow all the way out again.

I had near waist length hair and decided I'd take my time and have my hair cut in stages, as I've had long hair ever since I can remember (which my hairdresser knew). Because of this, I decided to have 6 visits to my hairdresser and paid her the correct amount each time. I sensed something was wrong on my last visit, as she wasn't her usual cheerful self. She rang me at home and said, "I'm upset. I won't be doing your hair anymore". I said, "But why? It's nothing wrong with you, it's only the fact that I need to take it in stages to have my hair cut shorter, etc, etc". Now she won't speak to me. What did I do so wrong? I paid her each time.

i am male and having short hair , recently went for a perm and it looks old on me as the curl is mushy not lively,now i can only wait for it to grow

When I get out of the shower, and towel my hair dry, it looks great. Smooth, shiny, with natural highlights, and well under control. Smart, sexy and really cool.
Yet, when it has dried (does it naturally) it is a dull brown, tending to frizz, curl and stick out. Generally horrible.
Is tnere anything I can put on or in it? Its only about 3" long, but if I can't do antying with it, then the whole lot comes off.
Can you save it??!
