Go with the clippers untill the last remaining attachement then go over it with no attachement.

Razor shaving can work just as well but will leave nothing at all which looks silly in most cases there is also a high risk of cutting the scalp.

Using clippers will leave a minimal amount of even hair which usually looks a lot better then completly bold but you could do both start with clippers and then shave it off last.

As long as you do it in stages and don't rush yourself you should be fine.

Actually both...the clippers with no attachment to get it as close to the scalp as possible. Then a smooth razor (preferably a straight razor; not the disposable). If all else, clippers with no attachment and follow that with Nair for Men. His dome will be baby smooth with less irritation.
Less bumps this way. Tell him to immediately after washing the clipping from his head, to go over his scalp with the green alcohol (less burning). This will alleviate bumps and ingrowns.

I never thought I would say this, but, razor. I just started seeing a guy that shaves his head smooth daily, and it is very sexy. Be warned though...some people have weird heads, so clipper short first to see if there are any dents or forgotten scars, then Bic it.

Clippers 40 blade (no comb attachments), then a razor to smooth it up.. Upkeep would be a daily razor shave...

My husband just got his hair cut really short, high and tight. But the hairdresser wasn't that great so it's totally different from what it's supposed to be. When I saw him I freaked. I miss his hair actually. I was used to it being a bit longer. But I like for most men to have a bit of hair though. So I would hate for him to have a close shave other than his cheeks/mustache area. Although some guys can pull it off.

Depends, What looks better on him, What do you kinda like?

Personally, I think most men look better with a bit of hair.

Ditto! Clipper then razor.
Remind your boyfriend that it takes some adjustment when he goes "bald" .
People will do a double take for a long while, crack jokes etc...
Can he handle that??
My new man friend does the bald thing..BUT for me and our first few meetings he let his hair grow some so I would b more comfortable when he does the "dome" for sportz!
I even suggested that I will trim down his hair w/ the clipperz then he can do the shaving...sounds romantic actually....
