Your stylist is not the same person who styled the hair in the picture. Your hair is not the same type of hair(thick, thin, wavy etc). Any good stylist would tell you if your hair could be styled even close to the picture. I believe a lot of stylist just look at the picture and say yes they can do that to your hair just to cut your hair and get the money.

A myriad of reasons - listed above are some good solid ones. The people you're hoping to look like are models, after all, with professional stylists who specifically design hair to look its best for a camera.

Magazine photos and the like have most likely been doctored (changed with computer technology) to look better than it might actually be.

There's the lighting in the picture to consider, random effects photographers use to show off the models at their best, all the chemicles and sprays used to keep every strand in place, different facial and head structures... etc.

But your stylist is not - I'm only guessing - preparing your head for a photoshoot. What they're doing is giving you a haircut, when you get down to it - something that can be worn in several different styles and survive the changeover. Stylist's consider themselves something of an artist, as well, and copying others' work isn't very polite. Throwing their own spin in, or trying something they think will look better on you, is just their creativity speaking.

I find it's best to give your stylist a few photos of a general style you prefer, inform them if the style you want is for something particular (formal, business, casual etc.) or if you feel you'd like to try something different/just want to look better than you do now.

Discussing it with them is a great way to find a style that's both unique and what you went in there to get.

i have in no way had the project before yet i comprehend a pair those who've had that problem. They went lower back and were given it fixed. If this can be an ok suggestion for then you with any luck take it. go on your nearest wig save and make a call that it truly is the right length you want and could be any coloration. they have scrunchie's that are made from hair and that i have one and use it from time to time and they are impressive to apply. they're somewhat pricy yet locate the only you want on your funds if u have a funds. maximum are $12.00 or $2 hundred reckoning on the position to procure the wig. purely opt for the only you somewhat choose and also you're waiting. hey we've all had undesirable haircuts.

Here is my trick. I have learned to keep an eye in the mirror as the stylist is working. If while they are working, it doesn't look right. I ask them to stop and then redifine my hair goals. If they can't get it, walk out. If your hair is curly here is a curly salon locator. http://www.mixedchicks.net/curlyhairsalonlocator.html

I have the same problem. I think the problem is the stylist, and a combination that we don't know how to style the new cut.

the answer is, very often, we show them pictures of models...and because we dont have that kind of looks (face shape, makeup...etc) we will not look as nice as them even though we share the same hairdo.
