i am male and having short hair , recently went for a perm and it looks old on me as the curl is mushy not lively,now i can only wait for it to grow
how will it look as my hair gets longer.

when your hair looks and feels like mush after a perm, its because the chemical was left in to long before the neutralizer, or the chemical was much too harsh. your hair is damaged, but yes there is help, and help for now. you need to use a conditioner for damaged hair, and use gel, and mouse to shape to the fashion that fits your age. your hairdresser should have been a little more careful. it might be in their best interest to fix it back by doing this. and at no charge

If it's been less than 24 hours, shower, washing your hair thoroughly, then straighten it after you get out.
If it's been longer, you have four options. 1) Trim it as it grows, just taking off the dead ends. 2) Cut it all off. 3) Wait till it grows all the way out and you are comfortable with cutting it, or 4) Only to be done at least 2 weeks later, use a chemical straightener.

Any style of chemical is undesirable to your hair, in case you do come to a determination to get the perm use a warm oil medical care as quickly as a month or get some deep conditioning creme and it enables, there is likewise some leave in conditioner and that i take advantage of that,,,,good luck

i'm a chick and i got a bad perm once. I went to the black people hair care section and got some hair straightener. it took the curl right out. have a friend help, and dont leave it on too long. its like a tub of white cream that you spread on, leave on for liek 10 minuntes and rinse. the chick on the tub will have straight hair.
