Hair - December 2006

Has anyone used Feria Professional? I usually use Ion ColorBrilliance, but I thought I'd give this a try. Is it really necessary to use their specific developer because I have an unopened bottle of 20 volume that I would rather use. I am dying my hair a similar shade as it is now, the salon was out of 10 volume, is it okay to use 20 volume? Thanks

ok about 2 days ago i went to the salon to get layers on my medium length hair (below my shoulders). I started noticing that the hairdresser was cutting it a little too short on the left side so i made her stop! I started freaking out when i realized that the layers were already above my ear and only on the left side!!! i started screaming at her and she said she'll try to fix it but I already had too much! another hairdresser came and fixed the right side (she actually did the layers that i wanted) but now my hair is uneven. short on the left and longer on the right!

I need help growing my hair please!
Do prenatal vitamins work? Have you used them?
Does biotin work?

Where can i get these products?
Help!

I have to tie my hair back into a ponytail sometimes and coz my hair isn't really long it sort of sticks out more than hangs down. Is there anything I can do to get it to point more down than sticking out?

well, i have natural medium blonde hair but have dyed my hair all sorts of colours, including blue and pink. now, i have used a red dye over (my last colour) platinum blonde so my hair is still bright red at the top but has faded into a pinky orangey mess everywhere else. i would really like to go a rich chocolaty brown, but will it fade really easily? will it take and will it overpower the red? help will be much appreciated :)

everytime i blow dry my hair it goes realy frizzy.i do use frizz ease serium and it works well till when i start to blow dry it.any tips on how to blow dry it so there is less frizz.i use a round brush also when blow drying

I have dyed my hair black over and over for the past 5 years.I have finally managed to grow most of it out to my original color (medieum brown).Now some of the under side is still black.I wanna know of any ideas for a color for my brown hair that would still look nice with the black.I have brown eyes but my contacts make them green,I have fair skin with olive undertones.I don't think I want to go lighter on my hair,so does any one have any ideas for store bought color?If you cna tell me the brand and the name of a color that would be great also,if not it ok.I have always used nice and easy when dyeing my hair black.But it doesn't matter.

Not mine! My mums...shes not that old but her hairs fallin out. It's all the time, even just sittin around,when she watches TV! She's lucky she had thick hair but its so bad that she's nearly goin bold...and its really upsetting her. i have a short forhead and long bangs which i try to get sideswept...it works...1/8 of the time. because its not just my forheds short, cuz i wear glasses and i'm not comfortable if the hair comes over or under my glasses. any ideas how to use hair gel or something so the hair doesnt get bent over my glasses or fasll in my face? I had professional color (dark blonde)put in 9 months ago and it of course has grown out a lot. I want to go back to my natural color (brown) but don't really want to spen $100 plus to do it at a salon. And I don't want to make it look bad with a bad product.

I have really bad hair, I keep it braided 90% of the time because it is extremely thin. My hair grows then falls out again all the time and I am tired of braids, but when I cut and style it a month or two later it is falling out. What should I do to keep my hair growing and strong? PLEASE HELP ME!

i am a honey blonde and i want to go to light blonde. i have a pale/beige skin tone. but i want to know if i have to go to a professional to go lighter or can i use somthing you can buy from the bottle? and if i can buy from the bottle....if you know...which brand works best. i dont mind if its permanent or 28 washouts.
