I use hair gel to set the curl and then I use a hair serum to get rid of frizz. Make sure that the gel you use is water based, not alcohol based, when you use one that is alcohol based it dries out your hair and makes your curls hard and stiff.

try herbal essence totally twisted mousse. my hair is normally frizzy but when i use it, i end up with loose, frizz-less curls. just run your fingers through your hair after it drys to break up the stiffness.
