Hair - November 2006

ok so i have like REALLY thick hair! i have it layered, and the only thing that works for it is straightening...when i try to curl it it just goes wild! naturally it's half straight and wavy, but the waves go in opposite directions. do you know any good products that hold it well??

first question i am a swimmer and my hair gets dead ends. is their any way to bring dead ends back from the dead? and how can i prevent them and dont stay stop swimming cuz its like my pashon i swim 5 days a week. should i wear a cap with leave in conditioner in it? and which one is the best? are their any treatments that help my hair from dyeing? plz help with this! wow that was like 5 questions. :-) thanx

My hair is thin and weak and has no volume unless I blow-dry it. What can I do to make it thicker and stronger? Shampoos? Conditioners? I'm open to all suggestions.

It's not thinning because of age, I'm only 13 and it's always been this way!

I recently read that if you put olive oil in your hair overnight and then wash it off in the morning it will get rid of dandruff. It said to put 4 tbs on your hair. I did and this morning attempted to wash the oil out. I shampooed several times with different shampoos but my hair is still greasy. Any idea how I can ungrease my hair ?

I have wavy, dark brown hair with bangs down to my chin. It becomes frizzy if I leave it down for about 10 minutes or so unless it's greasy. I usually put it in a low ponytail but it's getting old and I don't look so great in it. I have a million flyaways too. I tried pulling my bangs back but I just looked silly with my flyaways. And I already tried braids, high ponytails, and pigtails. My hair is just plain annoying.

I used to just bleach my hair then apply the color that I wanted, but I want to dye my hair lighter without having to use a bleach lightener, I have Feria 58 but Im scared that its going to be a waste of time because the color wont show up...Why does this happen? and what can I do to get the color to show? I have had trouble with my hair since i was 5. My hair always has tangles in it. Before i go to be i put my hair into a ponytail so when i wake up the next morninging it won't have tangles. But it doesn't work. If if i get my haircut it will probably only be to my chin or a little higher.

to get rid of it but i passed a hair salone i asked the lady to wash my hair i would give her 20.00 just to wash it as i had a migraine she said ok and only washed it for 5 min and said she was done onone else in store at time i said is that all you will do she said yes so i only gave her 5.00 for it she yelled at me to pay up i told her she need to do it longer for that amount of money she said no so i walked out she called the cops who stoped me down the road i told them i payed her and she said i gave her no money at all luckly i just had my b-day and that was on the bill cop told me to never go back if she was going to be like that but what would you have done
