i have long hair and im thinkin about cuting it. it goes down to like the bottom of my back and if i cut my hair to shoulder length how long will it take to grow back?

It depends how fast your hair grows. Your is hair is long, correct? Think how long it took you to get this length. If your hair grows quickly, best to give it to Locks of Love (10in). If it doesn't, don't cut off too much, but get a little trim.

Cut it. It seems to be serving you no purpose. Since it is so long, Locks of Love would greatly appreciate it for making wigs for those who have lost their hair. You may find you do not want to let it grow back. It may serve you better to cut it just a little below shoulder length.

Since hair grows on average at the rate of about 1/2" per month, it will take two years to add 12" and about 3 years to add 18".

If you cut your hair, you could donate it to Locks for Love. Any hair dresser should know about this. If you hair is in excellent condition, they send it away and have real wigs made for people who lose their hair due to many different types of medical conditions.
This would be a great reason to cut your hair. And the good thing about hair, it always grows back.

Don't cut your hair. Keep your hair long like me. My hair grows back about two months. I think the average time is about a year. So you better seriously think about it before you cut it.

that depends on how fast your hair grows my hair grows really fast and i think you'll love a shoulder length cut

BE bold and do it ...
It will grow back in no time and there are alot of styles you can do with shorter hair that you can't do with long hair, so I say go for it.
And your have grows on average about 6 inches per year.

3-5 yrs or so...depending on your diet and how fast your hair grows. If youll take a high potency vitamen...like prenatal vitamens, 3 a day....itll grow faster.
My hair is very long too.
